I have a degree in art from the University of Wisconsin with emphasis on drawing and painting. Over the years I have worked in many textile/fiber art techniques, basket making, paper making, collage and book arts. My work has appeared in several local and national publications, galleries and museums, including the Denver Art Museum, Loveland, Colorado Springs, Sangre de Christo and Smithsonian museum shops.

In the last 16 years I have been concentrating on metal and beaded jewelry and bead embroidery. Bead work themes are Madonna and Child icons, mermaids and The Creation. I am currently working on 2 series, The Parables of Jesus and Psalm 19:1 inspired by photographs from the Hubble telescope.
